FAQ

How and when should interested customers contact you?

Please contact me via my email address: Lisabrownartist@outlook. I will reply as soon as I can. If you would like to purchase a print then you can do this directly from the site. Your order will be sent to my professional eco friendly printing team who will print, package and post your order. Alternatively, if you would like a bespoke drawing of your pet, please contact me beforehand to discuss exactly what you are looking for so we can achieve the best outcome together.

Do you accept commissioned projects?

Yes, I am pleased to offer commissions. As an avid animal lover and pet enthusiast, I understand that pets are an important part of your family. We are not alone!...Around 40% of the UK own a pet. There's a lot of love out there and I really enjoy bringing that love to life.

What are your payment terms?

Prints must be paid for on order. Commissions must be paid for once you have seen the composition and we have talked about and agreed on what we can create together.

Do you offer installment payment plans?

Sorry, not at the moment.

What shipping options do you offer?

Good news! My team of professional printers are able to ship worldwide.

Do you use environmentally friendly materials?

I do indeed. My creations are digital so they couldn't be more eco friendly and my team of multi award winning printers use eco friendly paper and packaging.

Does your print come with a certificate of authenticity?

Yes, orders will be received with a certificate or authenticity, stating;

  • Artwork title
  • Artist name
  • Original medium
  • Copyright date
  • Edition details

Do you accept visitors at your studio?

Unfortunately not as I work from my family home.

Do you help customers with the selection of frames for your artwork?

For framing, I recommend speaking to your local framers for advice.

Can I share your art/ art I have purchased from you?

I would love for you to share my work as I'm sure you will be very pleased with it but please do not copy it. If you would like extra prints, I can arrange this for you. If you share it online, please do make sure you mention me as the artist and link my website. Please do not use my artwork or edit it as  your own.

What art supplies do you use?

I work using the latest edition of Adobe Photoshop and a Wacom Intuos Pro Pen and Tablet.

I'd like to do some art...where do I begin?

At the beginning! If you are just starting out then please don't spend lots of money! Art can be very expensive but there's no reason to make it cost much to start with. Read books on art (find them cheap in charity shops and on ebay) and watch YouTube videos. Start by learning the basics of contrast, tone and light. This will be the bread and butter for all your artwork. Be brave, be bold and just keep drawing, drawing and drawing! By all means look at other artists who inspire you (Instagram is great for this) but don't compare yourself to them. And don't forget to look back at old work to see just how far you have come as an artist.

Here is the very first digital drawing I did. I hope you can see an improvement!
